Everyone who participated in the Lubbock Cake Challenge had great fun while celebrating the gift of life!

In the 12-13 yrs. category, Brittany Meredith earned first place, and second place was shared by
P. J. Orme and Shadrick Taylor.

Contratulations also to Brittany Meredith for her cake being voted
"favorite cake" by the audience!

In the 14-15 yrs. category, Sarah Gillespie's
cake earned first place.

In the 16-18 yrs. category, Garrett Howell's cake earned first place, and Wendy Williams' cake won second place.

Each participant earned a $500 savings bond, compliments of
PlainsCapital Bank,
Suddenlink Communcations,
and First Bank and Trust. Entrants who earned first place also received $250 in United Supermarket gift certificates. Second place winners earned $125 in United Supermarket gift certificates!
